Responsible for a third of global food production,

bees are essential for life as we know it.  It's often

said one out of every three bites of food we take,

we can thank a bee.   Nature's tiny farmers are

widely considered the most efficient and effective

pollinators. Not only do we need bees for food

production for ourselves, but also our livestock. 

Sublette County has a significant agricultural

sector, with hay being a major crop.  Hay needs

pollination.  That's why it's so important that as a community we support our native and non-native bees.  Through the Sublette County Bee Society, we aim to educate everyone in the community about their role in Saving the Bees.  Whether you have a hive, want a hive, wants hives on your landscape for pollination or you simply want to learn what flowers you can plant to help feed the bees, we need your support.  Business sponsorships are also available.
